Nigel John Ashworth has lived in Stalybridge all of his life and is a retired Solicitor. He has practised in Stalybridge as  a partner with Hackwell Ashworth and Co Solicitors from 1984 to 2006 when his firm merged with Thompson and Cooke Ltd Solicitors where he remained a partner until he retired on the 31st of December 2024.
